The Outer Banks motel the Fin ‘N Feather Waterside Inn and Outer Banks Fishing Charters is proud to present fishing charters right out of the motel (right at our boat dock, to be exact). We have just acquired a 26-foot Angler fishing boat. This charter boat is equipped with all gear needed for fishing the Outer Banks near shore, Oregon Inlet, and all the Sound waters. This Angler fishing boat has a head, twin Yamaha V6 150’s, all electronics (GPS, sounder, marine radio, CD player, AM/FM radio, and more), sink, T-top with canvas swim platform, live well, plenty of room to store your fish, new tackle, rods, reels and bait.
This Outer Banks fishing charter is a very unique set-up. The fishing charter boat is docked 25 feet from the motel. No need to wake up at 4:00 AM and drive to Oregon Inlet to fish. Here, you could crawl from your room to your charter boat! You can fish the waters of the Outer Banks for red drum, striped bass (rockfish), flounder, speckled trout, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, cobia, king mackerel, seabass, triggerfish, spot, croaker, black drum, grey trout, hickory shad, and amberjack, depending on what fish are biting when you come.
After you fish on the charter boat all day and catch your limit, you bring your catch back to our motel’s fish-cleaning station right at the boat dock. Clean your fish and then grill it out on the charcoal grill in our waterside picnic area while you watch the sunset. You can even throw your line in off the dock under the stars. Then make your way the few feet to your room for a well-deserved good night’s sleep. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? We’re your one-stop fishing spot!
This is our first year running fishing charters here in the Outer Banks NC, so we are introducing package deals that combine our fishing charters with our motel rooms. Book both and save money! These charter packages are only offered for a limited time. If you have further questions about the fishing charters or the motel, or need clarification, please do not hesitate to call us toll-free at 888-441-5353.

Your Outer Banks one stop fishing spot! |
Q. What should we bring on the fishing charter?A. You should bring sunscreen, snacks, beverages, motion-sickness medicine, a couple layers of clothing for wind or sun protection. If you bring your camera to record your big catches, be sure to bring a drybag (a Ziploc freezer bag does the trick nicely). Q. Is fish cleaning included?A. No, it is not, but we do have a fish-cleaning table at the motel for your use when you return. There is a hose and running water for your use as well. All we ask is that you please clean up the station for the next guy when you’re done. |
Q. What will we be fishing for?A. Whatever is biting at that time of year, but a short list could include: speckled trout, striper (rockfish), flounder, cobia, amberjack, bluefish, croaker, mullet, red drum, grey trout, and spot. Q. How many people can the charter boat hold?A. The charter boat and the captain are licensed to carry 6 passengers. Q. Can we drink on the boat?A. Of course you can drink responsibly on the charter. Q. Does the charter boat have bathroom facilities?A. Yes, the boat has a marine head. |
